Caricature Queen ("Queenie") is a Doctor of Criminology, a Master of Counselling, Master of Comparative Religion, and also has qualifications in teaching, nursing, radio broadcasting, the social sciences, government investigations, training and assessment, and other things that she can't remember!

But Queen's first love is art. 

She started her company in 1987 and pursued various creative arts (drawing, theatre, film, corporate video production, radio broadcasting, journalism and PR, etc), concurrent with her eclectic academic life.  

She was  head of a government Multi-Media Unit in Sydney, but in her over 50 years in the workforce, her vocations also included drug and alcohol rehabilitation, AIDS, disability services and senior roles within the criminal justice system. For a period she was in private practice as a counsellor. Queenie has also taught art and film making with NDIS clients.

She is a published author and a conference speaker. Her textbook on corrective services is bigger than a Harry Potter novel. 

She's made a few films and is a fledgling stand-up comedian too. Her "Mrs Bonfire" alter ego made the semi-finals in Australia's Got Talent. She's currently a finalist in Australia's Funniest Boomer and will be competing for the title in Brisbane in September.  Queenie's also an actor and is seen occasionally on television commercials, television series, films, and in corporate and educational videos.

In August 2022 she opened her second caricature shop, Caricature Queen HQ in Maryborough where she and her musician husband Barrie Gott (affectionately known as "Maestro") reside. 

Caricature Queen HQ is probably the only such outlet in the country, maybe even the world!  Queenie's proud to say that the shop is unique to Maryborough!

Caricature Queen HQ provides many services including caricatures, cartooning, book illustration, advertising, shop and vehicle signage, and other multi-media services. 

Queenie and her associate Jennifer Lucas (the Royal Aide) are art therapists and hope to incorporate art therapy for individuals and groups into their services.

Queenie and Jennifer also facilitate customised art workshops.
